Roadside Assistance

All of Tiki Car Rentals vehicles are covered by 24 hour RACQ roadside assist. Whether you have hired a car from Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast Airport / Coolangatta Airport or Brisbane Airport, you can be assured your vehicle is covered for general breakdown. Simply call 1800648058 and quote service number 0064989304. No need to write these down, details will be provided at time of hire!

Flat Battery
Faulty batteries will be replaced and the cost will be covered by Tiki Car Rentals Gold Coast. Batteries that have gone flat due to lights left on or any other instance like this, customers will be charged the call out fee of $50.

Lockout
RACQ will be able to gain entry to your vehicle and lockouts will incur a $50 call out fee.

Lost Keys
If keys are lost, please call Tiki Car Rental and wait next to the vehicle. A replacement set will be organised to get you on your way. A replacement set will be charged to the hirer.

Wheels and Tyres
Wheels and tyres are the responsibility of the hirer, if a puncture occurs and you need RACQ to change it for you, you will incur a $50 call out fee plus the cost of the repair. All vehicles are fitted with jacks etc.

General Breakdowns
RACQ will try and repair any vehicle on the spot, if the vehicle requires further repairs, a tow service will be provided and Tiki Car Rentals will organise a replacement vehicle for you.

Run out of Petrol
A RACQ patrol car will provide enough fuel to get you to the nearest service / gas station. RACQ will charge a call out fee of $50 for this service.

Accidents
Please call Tiki Car Rentals immediately should you be involved in a motor accident. Ensure you get all of the third party details including registration/s, names of driver/s, contact number/s, addresse/s, street names, drivers license numbers and expiry dates. Further information can be found in your rental wallet upon pickup of vehicle.
